A celebration of Nutmeggers and Business Partners on Thursday, November 13, 2014 was fabulous. The venue - beautiful; food- delicious; company - marvelous. Dan Klau of McElroy, Deutsch, Mulvaney & Carpenter, LLP sang paradies including "The Billable Hour Blues". He was a hit! Karen Glowacki, Region 1 Director awarded Susan Gay, Past President and Regional Officer, the Volunteer of the Year Award. This is a great honor, and we are proud to have a winner of this prestigious award in our very own Nutmeg Chapter. We also recognized milestone anniversaries. Congratulations to Joe Harmon, Susan Gove, Joyce Schweiss, and Deneen Seifel who are celebrating 15 years with the chapter, and to Bruce Lyon and Bob Schaefer who are celebrating 25 years with Nutmeg ALA! And finally, we raffled off two gifts. The winner of the Henry Allen Sponsorship ($1,000 to a 2015 ALA Conference) was Susan Namerow. The winner of the 2015 Bronze Level Sponsorship was Willam B. Meyer. The gathering was a wonderful way to begin the "holiday" season.
