BP Forum, Lunch & Educational Workshop: Dear Helga: You are not Going to Believe..

Thirty members and Business Partners attended the September 26, 2013 educational event at the Cromwell Courtyard Marriott. Business partners and some members joined in a roundtable discussion about ALA happenings and to how the Chapter can provide value. The networking lunch was a buffet style, autumn themed meal. The homemade pumpkin pie was delicious!
The program, "Dear Helga..You're Never Going to Believe What My Employee Did" was a lively, entertaining and educational session commandeered by Michael S. Cohen, Esquire of DuaneMorris (Philadelphia). Topics discussed included background checks and hiring practices, dress codes,and other HR issues as well as changing social/cultural issues.
Donations were accepted for the Community Connection Project - "The Diaper Bank" . To date, over $500.00 and loads of diapers have been collected. More donations will be accepted in November. Brian Paul from Cornerstone is storing the diapers and will ultimately deliver them to the Diaper Bank at the end of November. CHECK OUT THE PHOTOS!
